I've gone through a few over the years but the Bell Bullitt has been the best fit for my slightly oval head shape ... beautifully finished and you can get different thickness cheek pads for a perfect fit ... only downside is it isn't the quietest helmet around
Thanks for the heads up about the different cheek pads for the Bell Bullitt! Ordered up a thinner set before my trip to Glacier National Park.
Well after reading and watching YouTube videos and hitting the local gear shops which don’t have small in stock(say they start stocking men’s in medium) I ordered a Hjc rpha 70 st in small matte black. I will keep you posted on my thoughts when it arrives. Thanks for all the input , this helmet is in my budget range right now and has some good features so we will see. If it’s a no go I can send it back and try a different one. Apparently with a little bean trying different models on would only be achievable at a show which I have no clue when or where the closest one would be?

I believe you may have just missed the Gettysburg, PA show [though I don't know if you would consider that to be "close"].
Clearly, you won't be waiting for any of these to roll into the neighborhood; but perhaps for future reference: http://www.motorcycleshows.com/
I like the idea of a peak visor to shade my eyes going into the sun. Even with sunglasses and the flip down sun glass on my HJC modular I find going into the sun fatiguing.

I have the Tour model with the Flip down visor and just love it. Great air flow and comfort. Helmets are like beds and shoes,You get what you pay for. Shocks are kinda like that also.
Something I've not seen mentioned is high end helmet manufacturers also make different thickness cheek pads for a custom fit. I have chubby cheeks and got pads 4mm thinner for my Arai. Helmet fits my head, cheek pads fit my face. Doesn't feel like Aunt Flo is pinching my face anymore. Makes a big difference.
