Black is just so dam boring. Yes they can look good sitting in the show room but after you get it home . Just another black bike. I have two that are black. Likely never again. Maybe goes agonist the grain but an honest answer .
Back on topic, my 20 is midnight blue, may as well be black until the sun hits it. I've owned 6 Harleys and this one is the closest to black I've owned.

Would love to see that color offered again. Beautiful blue.
I have Big Blue Pearl on my bike, very similar. Tis' ashame there aren't many vibrant color offerings like that from HD currently.

I wish they would bring back big blue pearl. I had a 13 superglide in BBP and I liked the color so much I bought a 14 street glide in the same color. Me being me I traded both eventually, but I've never owned a bike that got more compliments than those bikes.
My bike still runs great and doesn't even know what color it is, still the color can matter to the owner. My last bike was a willow green and ivory cream Indian Chief Vintage, got a lot of attention, too much, after just a couple of years went back to Harley and a color that blends in more, don't want to just run with the crowd but I found out I really didn't want to stand out. The Harley runs better, smoother, has more power, engine sounds better, transmission sounds better, handles WAY better, and well I should have stayed with Harley all along. My first black bike in many different colors, yes it does take a lot of upkeep, don't mind caressing my bike at all and when she sparkles, she really sparkles. Had a black car so I knew what I was getting into, love the California duster, saves a lot of washing time.
