My 2011 flhtk clutch is slipping after adjusting and wants to slip on long grades at highway speeds.. looking to upgrade clutch and to a heavy spring. Looking for some good suggestions for a replacement.
The above is the part number and description of the clutch spring that I would strongly recommend. 258 lbs/ft is the stock spring and it's too weak. Try the spring first, alone, and I bet your slippage will disappear.
If it started slipping after adjustment I'd suggest starting with the adjustment.
But, that would be to easy...
Never had an issue with spring tension on the 95 SE kit and spring the spring that came with it.
Btw, how many miles on the clutch and when was it last adjusted or lube changed.
there might be a couple of clues to assist.
Then again if you wanna change for the sake of change...

well it's a 2011 fly 103. Just adjusted it 900mi ago I just had the competitor updated so this kinda sucks I have to open it up again long trip coming up and don't want any problems so the fellows and I will go through it...... left for upper michigan and got into some long grades and it started slipping.. so I ran 5th for a bunch of the time....
I was having some clutch issues with my Rivera Primo setup. Went back to a chain primary. Bought the Baker 9 plate street performance clutch. It's pricey, but AMAZING! Couldn't be happier!
