From: i live outside Omaha Ne on the Iowa side in the Loes hills, some great places to ride
what does make you a biker?
i hear so much about what doesn't make you a bike
so what does make you a biker?
I purchased my first harley three years ago
mostly because that was the first time i could actually find enough money that wasn't spoken for in my life to purchase a used
1996 electraglide. wasn't thrilled about the electraglide part
but it was a harley.. i rode it home in a cold rain 150 miles
i knew i needed better gear than a sweat shirt and cotton gloves.
i rode that bike 26,000 miles and had to overhaul it.
i purchased a new SG and love it and ride it all the time
cold, rain, hot , day , night , short distances , long rides to see kids and my parents 250miles round trip, in high wind, and most of all in my dreams..
i think i am a late bloomer , but i am a biker in my own way
so lay it on me guys
what makes you a biker?
That is a good question.......when you ride a bike it is a freedom that you don't experience inan automobile....the road feels different and the smells............good and bad you experience them. I don't know maybe being a biker is a state of mind.....what ever would rather ride on a bike then ride in a car....any car...riding a bike blows my skirt up!!!!!!!!
Enjoying the air condition condensation spraying off of the pavement from the car in front of you!!!! ...........or was that spit? Either way, it's all good.
Choosing the bike over your car. Riding in the rain(I've ridden in the snow on I-70).The grin Bryan1724 is talking about. Wearing the right gear for the right reason, to keep your body fluids in if it comes to that, instead of wearing it for looks. I keep coming back to the grin, and how it feels.
