Ok I am stumped on this one. 2004 ultra classic will crank , getting fire to plugs, replaced TPS, Crank PS. Cleaned injectors and new fuel pump. I am getting power to the injectors and the MAP sensor. The fuel pump activates when it should. I disconnected the fuel line after the quick connect and tested to make sure it is pumping. If I am missing something someone PLEASE help. Thanks
Bad injectors maybe? if theres a way to take the injector out of the engine but keep it connected to the fuel rail, do it and see if they are spraying when you crank the bike. I did this on my sport bike using a 2" C clamp.
I had a fuel injector die in a car once. Replaced it and ran fine. Seems like you've covered everything else. If the bike is in time, has compression, you have spark, you have a working fuel pump getting fuel to the rail, seems like a bum injector to me.
As mentioned before.
Review internals of fuel tank.
Reads as if there is a hole in fuel line within tank.
Adding liquids to a fuel tank instead of dumping fuel is not a solution.
Changing sensors without confirmation of performance can get expensive.
will it start with a shot of ether / starting fluid?
Do you have a "noid light" to see if the injectors are getting signal?
Are there any signs of fuel on the new plugs? If you put in new plugs and they are pristine after attempting a start it would lead me towards a fuel issue, since you know you have spark... you have verified spark right?
Did you replace the fuel pressure regulator and hoses?
cranks fast ( no spark) cranks normally ( spark and compression)?
If it cranking over and you have good compression, timeing is set correctly, and you have spark at the plugs, then it's not getting fuel. Three things make a internal compression engine run ..
