+1 on fangs, ashtray, short(er) recurve windshield on my RK and feels like I could almost light up a smoke w/a match going down the highway. More engine heat at slower speeds though, and think engine might be running a touch warmer. Also did tank lift recently as well and not sure it made much difference with all the rest but it sure changes look of the bike.

A Tank Lift does a pretty good job at cutting down the air coming over the top of the tank and hitting the chest, then going up and messing with the beard.
It also redirects more air over the engine, cooling it down.

Thanks for all of the replies! I believe I'll try the lower fairing air deflectors first and then add on other items as required. I think they are what made such a big difference riding the road glide I was on last week. Almost no beard lift.

I just use a small pony tail band to keep mine out of my face. I really think you could buy and install any and every "fix" out there to no avail. Just tie the thing down and ride.

Street Glide with 7" LRS shield, and fugly fangs.... still get lift!! No buffeting around the helmet, but my beard is up in my face!! So..... rubber band and snug it down!
