Soooo....are you planning on painting the trailer blue or the bike black???
ironically the trailer was originally painted Blue and silver and the guy had it painted black...I do believe I will have it painted at least silver. I don’t know what my next bike will be but I don’t think I’ll repaint every time I switch bikes

Could leave the Top cover black and give it a good buff. Silver band or stripe right below that, then a blue base.
Nice set up whatever you do, and, as you stated, it will be a nice fit for any future touring bike you get.
The spoiler is a sweet touch without looking tacky. Would look good behind a shark-just sayin'
