Seems as if the bike I just purchased a couple of weeks ago that the stock air shocks arent holding air and I need to replace them. Obviously something I wanted to do anyway but what are you guys riding with thats not a million bucks!! Thanks in advance
Five years ago I bought Progressive Cartridges for the 02 Ultra and the single sided stock gave up the ghost.
They where on sale from Fortnine and they where cheaper than amazon at the time.
I'm now riding a 2011 Road Glide, so I have lots of life left in the stock shocks.

My vote is for Ohlins 2-2b from motorcyclemetal.com. They're close to the price of the Progressive 444 but set up for you and how you ride. I've never compared them to anything other than the OE shocks on my 03 (same shock as what you're replacing) but my wife and I are both happy with them. There are always more expensive options but I find that these are a nice compromise between a cheap replacement shock and something that will cost you significantly more money.
There are a million threads and just as many opinions, get ready for some reading
DK Customs and Motorcyclemetal are forum sponsors here, and both offer all the choices you could possibly want for shocks and suspensions front and rear.
Search for and read the report that DK Customs put together on rear suspension shock performance.
The best bang for the buck, in my opinion, are the Bitubo’s, and that’s what I put on my RK, and, I love them. Feel free to PM me if that’s the route you decide to go - I can direct you to the best price available, Plan on roughly 30days to get them custom built to you. If you want/need shocks more expeditiously, and are willing to spend $800, I would opt for the Pro Action shocks - direct from Pro Action, or DK Customs offers them as well.
As someone said I believe, once you upgrade your shocks, you will absolutely want to upgrade your front suspension fork internals. Many riders really enjoy the fork cartridge inserts, whether Progressive, Legend, Ohlins, or whomever. I had Pregressive cartridges put in my RK, and love them - zero brake dive!
Once you upgrade your front and rear suspension, consider a stabilizer (true track as well as several others) - that is the next upgrade for my RK, to reduce / eliminate rear end wobble....
