Good morning, I have a 2007 Road King Classic, it was running fine then all of a sudden it started shuttering and rear cylinder missing then high idle. I've changed the IAT, throttle position sensor and map sensor and spark plugs to no avail. It just turned 70k miles. Any suggestions?
Pop your gas cap off and have a listen when you turn on the ignition switch. If you hear bubbling or spraying your fuel line has a hole in. Skip the Harley replacement plastic one and buy submersible fuel line from Napa. About the same price and way more longevity. While you're in the tank change the fuel filter. Careful the plastic parts do get brittle. 1st time took me four hrs. Second one took me 90 minutes. Lots of YouTube videos on the subject
Thanks for the input, I have 58 psi fuel pressure and the regulator and filter were changed a few months ago. I took it around the block and when I let off the throttle it would act like it wanted to stall. Then I noticed the speedo jumping around from 20 to 35 mph. Battery load test was good and checked all grounds and battery connections and that was all good.
I'm kinda stumped at this point.

On my 2011, I had those symptoms and it was my engine temperature sensor. Part costs less than 35 bucks and just screws into the front jug with a sparkplug-like cable connector. Mine went bad at about 60,000 miles.
I know, it's just a shot in the dark, but could it possibly be you bought some bad gas ? I was on a 2500 mile trip a few years ago, and had to stop for gas at a out of the way station. My bike started doing the similar thing after a couple of miles. Damned thing wouldn't hardly go. The next place I stopped at, I bought some gas additive and after about 5-10 more miles, it smoothed right out. Like I said, just a shot in the dark.
