Harley Dealers tend to do that.
If you bought it at Peterson's, Space Coast, Six Bends, or Alligator Alley it should be set to the dealerships zip code.
Verify it. You're likely to need it someday.
I got it at 6B, and I also sometimes dont listen so well in the midst of my excitement.
So its a toss up, but yeah I guess Id better figure it out.
That "S" in your FLHXS means yours is a Street Glide Special.
That model does come with security as standard equipment.
For the regular FLHX (Street Glide), security is an option.
I know what the S is. Lol.
I just thought it was standard on everything above the XL's.
Personally I could live without it. I'm not too sure how effective it actually is as a security option.
Had bikes and cars with fobs for umpteen years. Surprises me that people have trouble with changing the battery at suitable intervals! Never been stuck yet.
Rats - what have I said?!
I can't remember ever changing the battery key fob in my 12 year old Dodge truck, I'm sure I've done it at least once, and I use it to lock and unlock every day.
I change out my Harley fob batteries every January 1st. I've had two of them die on me on that schedule.
I know what the S is. Lol.

Well, I figured you probably did know what the S was for.
I was just pointing out that security was one of the difference's between the regular SG and the SGS
Same for the RG and RGS
Oh, and if you really don't want the security, the security module can be replaced with one that doesn't have security.

The brakes are what sold me on the S. Lol!
I actually went to the dealer looking for a Dyna. Maybe another Sportster.
The Rushmore had just come out and I went for it.

One of the first things I did was change my security code to a 5 digit number I could remember. I like the feature in case I lose or end up with a dead fob somewhere. Also like when the lights all start blinking if some *** hat decides to get too acquainted with my ride while I'm not looking.
