I have a Thundermax on my 03, with IIRC 08 or 09 pipes that have the O2 bungs... so I am running closed loop FI
I have never had a problem, unlike the 2 PCIII's that pooped the diaper before I gave up on them ( customer service was like a top of the line Electrolux, it sucked)
If you have the ability, and the dyno time, the Thundermax is infinitely tunable.
i have roadking with powercommander 3 and it was for a 08 dyna and my bike is 06 reprogramed it and good to go in other words erase the program on their and install a fresh one then if it craps out go for the other brand
I’ve had a thundermax on my previous (now sold) Dyna and knownfew of my close friends that have it as well. It’s an awesome system that never gave me any issues. Very easy to use too. Will be getting it on my street glide soon to replace the commander.
Well late update... I reached out to Dynajet and they told me they are having a loyalty sell. I had to send in my PC lll and once they got it, they are sending me a brand new PC 5 after setting it up for my engine mods... price is $199 plus shipping.
It should be here Monday... waiting....
