Default Fairing Torx screws size and torque spec

I’m getting ready to add the hidden antenna kit to my 2018 Street Glide. Does anyone know the size and torque spec on the fairing Torx screws? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Thank you, I thought it was pretty important to go by the spec. I can imagine over tightening and cracking the fairing or the windshield

Those inch pounds are easily attainable by hand tightening. Just snug em up

Which is why it probably makes a lot of sense getting a proper torque wrench for the job.

Some people can apply an appropriate torque for most all fasteners, others need a mechanical quantifier to do so.

If you're concerned, get the torque wrench out.

Of all the things you'd need a torque wrench for, I just don't think this is one of them. It equates to 2.5 foot pounds.

I learned that I needed an inch pound torque wrench replacing the valve cover on a Chevy Cruze I had. The torque on the E-10 bolts is 70 in-lb so I just tried to get them barely snug and one broke off. I think those things are made of chalk or something...lol. I got lucky in this case and there was enough of the bolt left above the cylinder head to grab with vise grips and back it out. I then rode to the store and got the torque wrench.
