I got a price of 1350.80 to lower my bike thats with parts and labor I’ve already lowered it 1 inch with the low rider seat. They tell i would see 1and half inch improvement by going factory low just like the low rider that are sold now. That’s 2/1/2 inch difference big for me looking to test ride a 19 Low rider with the 114 and new Apple play boom box but that big bucks i dont want spend right not doesn’t seem worth it any more.

I agree that the cheaper blocks that move the shock bottom back could be a problem. I used progressive lowering springs in the front to lower it 1" and used a lighter weight fork oil. I have stock seat and a 28" to 29" inseam and can flat foot the bike. This is the best riding bike I have ever had. ( I have had 5 different goldwings) The bike does drag easy, but I tend to push it a little harder in the turns than some.I don't consider myself aggressive but moderate rider. I know 1" does not sound like much, but it is a big difference when sitting on a bike.
I don't see an LA choppers lowering kit for a newer street glide special. Am I not looking in the right place or what?

I do not know the answer to that. My bike is a 2012 ultra limited. I do not know Harley's well enough to know if the frames are the same and they will work even though it is not listed for your bike. Maybe someone else could better answer that or Call LA choppers to see if they offer something that will work for your bike. My dealer recommended and sold me these. Very easy install. I wish I could be more help
