Default Electric Windshield

Any news on Harley implementing an electric adjustable windshield on their fairing models?

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. I haven't heard any such news I have to confess. Not sure how they would incorporate the motors without some sort of redesign.

Valid point, I just see most of the other competitors have them and baffled as to why Harley doesn't.

Because its an expensive gimmick that wouldn't sell new bikes. Welcome to the forums.

Having owned a BMW with electric adjustable shield I disagree it is a gimmic. Depending on weather, or how you feel about wind in the face that ride, making a quick easy adjustment is a great option. Have two shields for the RK. That and the no shield option is one reason I like the King.

Also, IMHO it would take away the classic look of Harley’s,

Holey Moley what do you think THAT option will add to the price of a bike?

That's what I thought too - until I owned a bike with an electric windshield.

Default Electric

I regularly ride with my brother-in-law who has a Honda ST1300. It has an electric windshield and he loves it. Several manufacturers offer that feature, why don't you buy from them, then you get the features you seem to want? What you want is out there, go get it.
