He wants to add the adjustable air deflectors under the batwing fairing. He only likes the stock look of the smoked one on the current (after 08) bikes that do NOT have a design in them.
When you go on the Harley website the ones that are listed for a 2007 model also show the work with 2008 to 2013.
However the ones he likes for 2008 to 2013 show they do NOT wok with the 2007 year model. Does not make sense?
Bottom line does anyone know if these will fit the 2007, or know of an aftermarket company that makes a standard smoked stock look for the 2007 year model?
08 and later deflectors attach with 4 screws. 07 and earlier used 3 screws. That said, a 2008 inner fairing will fit a 2007. The inner fairing will have 4 holes. Im not sure if the three of four holes would line up whereas you could install the 4 screw model with just 3 screws.
They're was ajustable deflectors for the earlier models. I have some on mine
Yes but is appears that all that's available now are "Dragonfly" or some other designs. He just wants plain smooth smoked ones like come on the current bikes. In speaking with him this afternoon I think he plans to just buy the new four hole and make them work.
