An internet search for "Motorcycle Luggage" will show you many options for your setup. Just check the HD catalog for your rack and look for the weight limit. Also might want to take into account how long you plan on being on the road, the amount of STUFF you will want to take, Rain, and Heat.
Lots of packing information here on the Forum.

It's just me so I don't need to keep the passenger seat open.
You could consider a large bag to carry your luggage on the pillion seat, plus a collapsible bag on the rack, to carry your unused riding gear and other stuff you want to be easily accessible. I actually use a tourpak, but with a collapsible bag on top and keep those two types of 'stuff' apart as best I can - doesn't do to mix wet and dry!

cncmike, I have decided to keep the curved rack. It has a weight capacity of 83.45 lbs. That may be why the previous owner put that rack on the bike. There are a few of the expandable racks on eBay for around $250, but when I checked, their capacity is only 30lbs. The King H-D Detachables Two-Up Luggage Rack which sells for $244.95 is also only rated at a capacity of 30 lbs. I don't know why that is the case but even the installation instruction say 30 lbs.

That bag is called the Route 66 roller bag and it is made by T-Bags. I bought it and the accessory roll bag for the top for under $150. It looks like the company is out of business which is too bad because they make great bags. I have a smaller one also. After a lot of trips I found a roller bag is great to have. Also a bag that front loads instead of top loads is a plus.
