PROGRESSIVE 412'S QUESTION
Thinking about putting 11 1/2" 412 shocks on the back of my roadking. Has anybody had any problems riding with a passenger about bottoming out?? Should I go with the 412 heavy duty or will standard springs work o.k.?? I weigh about 170 and the wife about 140.

I installed a set of 11.5 inch 412's on my 2007 FLHRC about 500 miles ago. Standard springs, not the heavy duty springs. They are much more firm than the stock air rides. I love the slightly firmer ride, it really settles down the rear end of the bike during cornering. I leave the 412's set at their softest settings and have not bottomed yet riding 2 up. I weigh 185 and the wife about 160. IMHO, do not buy the heavy duty springs. BTW, I bought mine from AmericanClassicMotors on eBay for $169 shipped, best price I could find, transaction was flawless...
