Here is my Woody’s fairing with a custom dash that I made. Take a look and let me know what you think. Woodys makes a nice fairing. When I was shopping for a fairing I had a hard time finding any good videos of his fairings so I thought I would do one. Glenn at woody’s is a great guy with awesome customer service.
Thanks
Steve
This is a very impressive setup and it is cleanly integrated into the faring. Have you put in precautions to protect the tablet from water and the elements? Do you have the ability to remove the custom housing??

Well done.
Thanks. There is a thin layer of silicon under the trim ring that that prevents water from getting in around the tablet. The unit is bolted to the fairing with four bolts that are under the trim ring. You would have to take the fairing apart, as there are nuts on the inside of the fairing,to remove the whole unit. To remove the tablet just take the trim ring off and the tablet can come right out.
I’ve put about 4000 miles on the bike since installing this and haven’t had any problems. I’ve ridden in some rain without any problems. Going down the road in the rain there is very little water that even gets on the tablet. I haven’t taken a hose and soaked the thing down but it is sealed in there pretty well.
Thanks
Steve
Very nice! Since this is milled, can this be made for other popular fairing brands? And for other tablet devices?
Probably. It would depend on how the fairing is designed. It needs to have a fairly flat place for the plate to mount to. I would probably have to have the fairing to design one for it. As for a different tablet, I’m sure I could alter this to fit most any 7” tablet. There again I would need the tablet to make the changes. Anything bigger than 7” probably wouldn’t fit.
