Does HD offer a decorative chrome allen bolt kits for primary, derby, and other covers? Yes, I want chrome, not stainless and there are no Acer Hardware stores up here in Ontario, at least where I am. Not into Ebay.
If I understand you correctly , your looking for chrome allen key bolts . I just finished polishing all my new rotor bolts and rotors . You can save a bit of $$$ if you have a drill and a polishing wheel handy and do the ones you have , very easy to do . Sorry if I misunderstood what you were looking for , then disregard ..
Either do the above or for cheaper than HD go with the Colony brand like I did. I got their primary kit for $38 and not only does it come with the outer primary bolts, but also the derby cover screws too (sold separate from HD).
I used Colony bolt kits on both bikes. I’m happy. There are a few bolts I had to get at Ace Hardware. Another good chrome bolt source is Allen Fasteners, I’ve bought several bolts from them as well.
You did not state year bike, but this seems an interesting topic …
My bike would use the Harley kit 94052-07 (for 07 to 16 touring), but it is no longer in the newest ‘19 catalog, but is in the ‘18 catalog. (Did they discontinue that item?)
But for 99-06 touring it would be 94052-03A which is in both the ‘18 and ‘19 catalogs.
If you do use chrome don’t forget to put a dab of clear nail polish (or something similar) inside to once installed to help keep it from “discoloring”.
.
If you must have H-D, they sell chrome hardware kits for the primary, derby, trans and lifter/tappet. If you do those the other pieces might look outta place like:
Starter needs a chrome cover
Banjo bolts
Caliper bolts
Engine stabilizer link and bracket
Rocker box bolt covers
Fuel tank fitting
and so on and so on
