Performance Road Glide is All About Function
Sure, 2" tall mx bars would handle better than 12".... But, youd be hunched over, feet forward. folded like a ">"
Taller T-bars allows for the same stiffness and hand position, while sitting upright. It is a compromise in handling for comfort.
For me, (nothing crazy...08 road glide with 12" MX bars, 13" JRI shocks and racetech forks, 2-1 pipe, 103" stage 4) its about making a slow and poor handling bike perform a little better, have some fun in the mountains while still being able to pack the bags up and do 1,000 miles in a day with a passenger, comfortably. It'll never be a sport bike, but it can certainly be improved from the factory.
Its one of those things that not everyone will agree with. I hate big wheels, others love them...vice-versa.
Personally really like the detail on the bars. Brake and clutch perch looks great, one small joker mirror and a mid mounted led display speedo/ tach combo . That's a proper tbar set up right there .
