Pardon my ignorance, but I don't know if I have a cat, or not. I bought my Canadian 2009 Electra Glide Classic used. It has Stage 1. Going by the comments, do I just pull the right side muffler and look into the tail pipe? Will it be obvious if there is a converter in there? I looked on a parts fiche and it doesn't give me any clues, that I can see. Thanks for any help.
I use a .22 ruger. Quick and easy. You mean feral cats right? Dont kill someones pet. And yes feral cats are an invasive species that destroys local ecosystems, just like feral hogs.
But really weld it up right, no jb weld on a harley that vibrates a ton.
You don't say what kind of bike you have , but if it's a twin cam all you need is a 1 inch x 16 inch long paddle bit from Lowe's for $10. Pull the head pipe and put it in a vise and drill away. It will all come out after a while and it does take awhile. Make sure to remove the 02 sensors. Also tape a shop vac onto the head end of the pipe so it sucks up the dust and debris.
I see a lot of Youtube videos on cutting the access door but none on using a drill on a touring bike. I see where one video describes how he did it after the fact. Has anyone seen a video showing the process?

If you want strictly heat reduction then a tuner might work for you. I just put a FP3 on mine and it reduced the exhaust temps quite a lot. Decatting a Milwaukee 8 doesn't accomplish much of performance gain from what I have read.
I 've a few of them, not hard at all. It's pretty rough hanging on to the drill as it will bite once in awhile. Just go slow and take you time and you can get the pipe cleaned out. Have a good 1/2" drill.
Do a search on here there are many threads on it. Some will say you can't get it all out, but it will. There is pic's here somewhere.
