Do you recommend buying the rocker box wrench for the bolts ?
I have one after doing this job on a previous bike. It is handy but certainly not necessary. I also cut down a 3/16” Allen wrench which works on the rear cylinder.
I have since replaced my rocker box cover bolts with chrome Allen head bolts. That’s a different home made tool for those.
If you run into clearance problems using the dogbone adapters, turn the torque wrench upside down. Took me an embarrassing amount of time to come to that realization

What setup do you have there? Wr3nch and socket size?
These are the two sizes typically used, both 3/8 drive & both were purchased on Amazon

If you get the full set, you will use them in many places if you regularly work on bikes and cars... they can be used with a 3/8" torque wrench (use at 90° from wrench for proper torque), or with any 3/8" drive as a way to get into/at low clearance bolts.... can be very handy... especially for a low clearance bolt that should be torqued...

I recently installed the Rockout inserts and these are the 2 tools I bought from Amazon based on John's advice. They came in very handy for those hard to reach bolts and for proper torquing values 👍
