dash console part finder help

On my 08 I have removed the cb. I would like to remove the plug for the headset in the tank console and clean that up so it looks nicer. Is there some sort of aftermarket smooth replacement insert I can get or do I have to swap out for something like a whole different console from a streetglide?

I assume you realize the connector is for more than the CB, it supports and audio and intercom that would go to a headset. But, you probably know that...

yes, I have replaced with aftermarket so that is all gone now. I would like to tuck the plug or cover it or something and smooth out that look

There are a bunch of them on ebay or you can get one from HD for a Street Glide.

What did you search for on Ebay? All I was finding were stickers to cover the SG dash

I really though you could replace just the insert where the plug goes but it looks like they really might be different consoles. Oh well. Design time

Sorry I forgot the SG console was different, you can still just replace the insert, about $10 on ebay or EG Standard about $35 from HD, part #60957-08, look on ebay for harley gas tank console insert. The ones on ebay are just vinyl covers so you have to get the HD insert, the insert for a EG Classic is 60973-08, it would be the same as the one in dawg's link, both will fit.
