Hey everyone I need some expert assistance on purchasing a header pipe for my 2015 ultra limited. I’m looking at a cobra power port header and can’t seem to figure out which one I need. They make a dual bung model which the Harley dealer quoted me on but I see another less expensive one that says “2 into 1 performance” but I get conflicting sites saying it fits or doesn’t? Can anyone chime in on which one I need? Thanks
reuse your mufflers or buy what you like to match. what are you looking to achieve? more power? cooler running? better sound? all of the above. Many have had good luck buying a stock head pipe with the Cat removed for around 100-150. remember you're probably going to need a tuner to get it to run well too.
I have the Cobra Power Port on my 2013, single bungs down low. I believe the dual bung models are for bikes either having wide band o2 sensors or earlier models with o2s near the head. I think all pipes are the same 2009 upto M8 models which were 2017?

Yea these are dual headers with the performance of a 2 into 1 system. I’m sticking with dual pipes I have LA choppers slip ons. I’m adding a heavy breather and a Fuelpak tuner. I’m not sold on the stock pipes with no cat. These pipes are pretty much what I’ve researched and decided on I’m just wondering if I need the dual bung ones for my bike.

Thats what I’m wondering. I think the dealer was gonna use a tuner with wide band o2 sensors. But I’m installing it myself now. Maybe I should just get the dual bung pipes in case I go a different route later on.
Don’t rush into anything. Go to a bike night or two. Watch and listen to the bikes pull in and out. See and hear what you like talk to the bike owner for info.
A 2-1-2 is two inlets from the heads to a single chamber (to equalize back pressure) then back to two exits (mufflers).
A true dual is one continuous exhaust from each head to a muffler, may sound good but you lose a lil low end torque.
A 2-1 is two inlets (heads) to one muffler. These usually make good power if your going to step it up.
The other version says it has dual bungs with both 12 and 18 mm holes in the stock location. So you could use this one would work as well but you would have to plug the unused holes and it costs more.
The 6253 in the link is the part number. You can use this to shop the internet. Another quick look and the best price I saw was on Amazon for $429.38 Just go to Amazon and search for Cobra 6253 to find it.
