I think I got it right... 17.5” GT wide with my low seat keeps my eyes high enough over the top where looking through the tint won’t be an issue. The ride.... Enough wind left so that I know I’m on a Motorcycle, not so much wind that my ears ring after riding 80-100mph. Yeah when I test a shield it must go through the triple digit test. Happy with my purchase and happier to be out riding in the west coast sunshine!
Last Shield was stock clear shield that came with the bike. It’s about 2.5” taller and about an 1” narrower.
I think they both block about the same amount of wind but the shorter shield is way easier to look over. I’ll see about how going wider worked out on my next cold ride.
