I went to their site. Good ideas, hard to see/feel what you are going to get. I have a really good local vehicle upholsterer that said he would shave an inch/narrow the sides and install a gel pad for 150. His concern was, there is only 2.25" of stock foam in there to begin with. Removing an inch and adding 1/2" back will get back to 1.75 of padding. However it would be better dispersed (and narrower for comfort). So, back to his concern, he didn't want to remove too much and it be comfortable for a 1/2 hour ride, but for a longer ride, your cheek bones start to feel the seat frame. So far, sound like a good direction to go, without spending a bunch of money on other methods.

Wife will love you and you will still have plenty beer money in your pocket!
I was worried about some of the posts I saw you had to adjust the shock cavity on the hard saddle bags. Sounded like a possible pain in the. I also worried about the rigidity of a bracket like that. Flimsy? Not much? One of those things you have to put on and see I suppose.
