Had an issue with one of the latches on my aftermarket stretched saddlebags today. Had to unscrew the interior hooks from the outside to get one opened today which was very tedious but the only way to get it off because the mechanism is jacked up for some reason.
These are the one touch style on a 15 road glide.
My question is this. Has anyone put their stock lids on aftermarket saddlebags before? Just wondering if they are typically interchangeable. I still have my stock lids with the hardware installed because these bags came with lids and hardware. They are one of the tcmt brand off of amazon.
Im just hoping to save myself a little money and maybe some time before trying to swap them out only to find out they wont work. It was a pain in the *** getting them opened today.
