Trying to disarm my alarm without using the fob, incase my fob gets wet etc. Also how does the fob come apart to change the battery?
Downloaded the HD alarm system cheat sheet and it diurects me to enter the passcode. Where do I find the passcode? Any help will be appreciated.
The stock passcode is 11111 you enter them by the signal lights and left is the number and right tells alarm you are entering another digit. Hope this helps look at your owners manual and it will tell you how to change the code. The fob comes apart with a knife or thin screw driver becareful it has a rubber seal that is part of the button in there to keep the electronics dry so make sure that everything is in place when putting it back together.
WhenI picked up the Ultra, both sets of keys had a 2x4 cardboard tag attached to them with the information for the bike. The very bottom line was the security code (5 digit number)
The card does have the dealers logo and "Keys" printedon the opposite side, soI am not sure if it is a Dealer specific thing or not.
Thanks for the responses. My FLHT is a Katrina bike and it pretty much came with only a key and fob. My son rides a Dyna Wide Glide and he suggested that I figure out the codes and get familiar with them before I lose my fob. Without the fob I can't crank thje bike.
I paid about $30. for an owners manual that has all the security system info in it.It also has cards for your wallet that instruct you on the sequence for disarming the system using the turn signals. A word of caution, if there isNavy radar emitting in the area it can mess up the turn signal switch disarmingsequence. As for the battery, the case just pops open with a knife and uses a #CR2032 (or equivalent) battery. This info is true for both my 2001 FXST & 2005 FLHTCI, I can't speak for other models/years.

My dealer went over the procedure, it is also located in your manual. And yesmy dealer does have a specific code sequence for all of thier bikes. I would check with them also.
