Well, I was going to ride to Myrtle Beach and back but during my pre-ride inspection I found a nail in my rear tire. This tire was purchased/installed before I purchased the wheel and tire coverage. I remember someone saying that the wheel and tire coverage only covered tires that were purchased at the time the coverage was purchased or afterward. Is this true? Was your tire purchased before or after you purchased the wheel and tire coverage? Anyone?
I asked this specific question and was told that my tires were covered. Now, I dont know if that was because my bike was only a few months old and only had 1800 miles on it or what, but that was the email reply I received.

It's stated on their website under "eligibility", however, nowhere in the contract does it say anything about it. The ONLY thing the contract states is that the contract does not cover pre-existing damage.

The email I received was from Jim at Discount ESP.
Take it to the dealer and claim it. Worse they can say is that theyll cover the next tire.
well all did not go so easy, called the dealer to make sure they got paid, they said yes but had to call 5 times. they were not happy and told me they do would prefer not to use them again. and that was only a tire. so I'll be calling to cancel my plan and I'll have to take the hit for the tire and labor most likely.
Just got back this morning from my local Dealer, (Performance HD). I got bit by the dreaded water pump failure on my '16 FLHTK. My ESP from First Extended came through for me. An $800+ bill cost me my $50 deductible. It was purchased from Boardtracker, through Jim Palmer.
There were a few hiccups involving not having a water pump, some miscommunication, but overall my dealer came through and spent most of 45-minutes on the phone working with First Extended. And this was the dealer's first time working with First Extended. And some of it was meshing the claim & the ESP's payment with the dealer's accounting dept.
I hope this intel alleviates some anxiety on those with this same policy.
