My thinking is if you have the money to buy those bars off him you can drop the bike and those swanky new bars off at a local indy and pay him to stress out.
I recently bought off Road6 and couldn’t be happier. They are just a piece of metal after all.
$159.

If you have the money to buy off Paul Yaffe you have enough money in your account to get somebody to install.
Way too much money for most to spend on bars when there is other options is what I mean.
I’m sure they will look and feel good however.

Ahh ok I understand lol. I was a little confused there for a moment. Yeah I installed them this past weekend and well worth the experience and fun to do as well. I feel a lot more at ease doing work to my bike myself then having someone else work on it. As well yes very, very comfortable and worth it compared to stock bars.

It is very fulfilling doing work ourselves.
It takes me 3x longer than the dealer book rates but I feel good about my work in the end haha.

I can pay someone, but then why would I do that? I have tools and skills and know common shop practices, (22 years as a certified A&P and avionics specialist) so why not do it myself and learn something new along the way?
It always takes me longer and I may not know exactly what I am doing every time, but in the end, I know who did the work, what parts were used and where they came from, how much attention to detail was put into the task, and I know that the mechanic has skin in the game and is not motivated by profit. And, the self satisfaction of completing the job with my own hands and talent, and having it work perfectly is priceless...
Besides, every time I had someone else work on my rides, I have been disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and cutting corners to make a buck.
