Another QuadLock fan here! The case is durable and has saved my phone from many drops. Depending on the mount you choose you can put them anywhere. I used to have it on the bars but now I have it on the gas tank lid thanks to the Kuryakyn gas cap lid phone holder thingy.
Rokform - even though this a Road Glide, it would work well on a Road King too. Largest size bars it will fit is 1.25". There are other mounting options from Rokform though.
These are photos of my iPhone Xs Max.
I love the look of this mount but confused to how it holds the phone. Do you need to buy a special case? I’ve checked the website and it doesn’t explain.

Its like the quadlock. The case is part of the mount.
The case around red beards phone doesn’t look that one.
RokForm has a couple different case models and colors. They also make universal adapters that you can attach to your existing case/bare phone with VHB adhesive. I also have one of their suction cup bases that I have in my RZR for Bluetooth tunes and trail nav. They're versatile.
This is the case I have - it's their slim profile case. I loathe bulky phone cases and this one certainly isn't bulky at all.
I like that one as well. I’m with ya on the bulky cases. Just to clarify though, you do have to purchase the case separately? So $119 for holder then $39 for case? Thanks for all the info, just don’t want to purchase it then find out that I should’ve ordered the case at the same time.

Yep, you have to buy them separately and one won’t work without the other.
You can can use code ‘dde30’ at checkout for 30% off.
Initially, I wouldn’t have bought it at full price, but 30% off makes a big difference.
