Default 02 Ultra help please

New to the page and was hoping for some help with my 02 FLHTCUI from Japan,

Wanted to change the bars out and can’t get the ignition off.
Should be a simple right? Just push the tab, that is if I had the US spec ignition that turns. Mine is a solid brick. Key turns inside of it. Completely stumped.
It has an original HD sidecar mounted to it as well. We also brought back an 02 RoadKing Classic and the ignition on that one is standard US spec. Checked YouTube and all the microfiche pages I can find. Part number is for the **** style ignition that I do not have.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks y’all.

Look to see if it's the older style, you had to pull a pin out or away from the switch. If it has that you should see it between the bar clamps in line with the switch. All I got...sorry.

thanks for the assist, however it is not that style either. No pin between the bars to pull out. I saw that you tube video as well. I’m really stumped.

I have never seen a switch like that on a Harley. Looks like you got the bars off the hard way though. Three things to try.

Remove the two screws underneath, or
See if there is a release pin in the square hole, or
Is that a void underneath the switch just above the square hole? There may be a release pin there.

thank you. I will give that a try, and check underneath again. I didn’t see anything but will recheck. I’ll see if I can get some pictures of the underside. I tried to put the key in and move to different positions like the **** style switch. No movement in the top part. I took the top label off and found large roll pins, well that’s what they look like. Not a screw head or torx or Allen?
I did get the bars out thinking I could find out how to remove the ignition switch. The inner fairing was the major removal issue. I had to take the supports off to clear that ignition plastic. I would really like to put it back together correctly.
Thank y’all for your suggestions. I’ve never seen this style switch before either. I might have to reach back to Japan to get an answer.

Alright,
So got super lucky and Mr. Craig and the service dept at Golden Spike hooked me up! He made some calls with my VIN and found an international section in his service manual.
The four lugs under the label are anti theft lugs! Aluminum plugs that have to be removed before the four Allen head screws can be removed that hold it all together. So if anyone else has an international model this is the answer. Thank y’all for your help and suggestions.
Gotta still these out remove the lock and get these new bars installed.

me neither it’s an international thing I guess since this was ordered, built and sent to Japan with the sidecar as a package. I brought it back in household goods (HHG)
I'm really grateful that Golden Spike hooked me up without charging me a dime. Got it all back together last night, rode it down so they could check the lean angle. To close to the sidecar. Pulls real hard to the sidecar. They’ll get it dialed in for me. I ordered the service manuals for the bike and side car so I can get my own numbers next time.
