Put a removable tour pack kit on my 2018 Ultra Limited. When I take the tour pack off I have know place to put the wire harness. Don't want it flopping in the scratching the paint on the fender and bag, any suggestions?
I installed a tour pack on my 2009 UC last year. I was able to extend the wire harnesses so they connected under the seat. So, when I disconnect they're all tucked away under the seat. I know the connections are different for the later models (I don't even know if you have to take the seat off)... but that's what I do.
You jam them damn things up under that seat like you're stuffing the thanksgiving turkey.
Naw really it ain't that bad. I even have a driver backrest mount under the seat and there is still plenty of room. Use some small zip or velcro straps to keep them neatly together so they aren't just loose like an old ball of yarn and it will be fine.
