Anyone tried cheaper lower fairing quick release kit?

Default Anyone tried cheaper lower fairing quick release kit?
I was looking at the Moco quick release kit which is just under $100. I did a quick Google and found a kit that is 1/4 of the price. (

Anyone here have experience with this or similar kits?

Well you get what you pay but $23... I'd try it.

I've had pretty good luck with TCMT products in the past. Some of the pieces i've bought from them needed some minor tweeking to fit but have been good quality.

I have been using these for a year now, don't loosen up at all, at least mine haven't. I don't take my lowers off and back on often but I have gotten my $23 use out of them and then some.

good to know thy stand up. i usually take mine off once at the beginning of summer and leave them off until late fall so they won't see a lot of action

with that little bit of use, i wouldn't mess with them. there isn't that much holding the lowers on to start with.

I've had these for 3 years, but I don't take them off. Never had an issue.
