Default Need more power and noise

Im looking to upgrade the exhaust on my 2014 Limited.

I have stock header with V&H Slash cut slip ons.

I purchased a used Fuel moto air cleaner kit and I am looking for the best option to increase the power and sound on my bike - at of course, the cheapest price. cause I am cheap. just being honest.

I was looking at the V&H power duals but cant afford $600 + whatever its gonna cost to tune it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone.

Do you have a tuner on the bike now? If not you need to add one into your cost

Power & noise are subjective
First a 2-1 exhaust will produce more power than a 2-2 but if you want to work with what you have, get or do yourself, decat the header - go to the local HD shop or hang-out and listen to different exhausts to find the one you like
Second - don't have HD tune the bike, they will not give you as good of a tune as an Indy shop.

If you're trying to be cheap people sometimes de-cat their own headers or maybe you could find a used stock header that's been de-catted or a used performance exhaust. Either way Scudda is right, you'll either need a tuner or get your bike tuned somewhere.

I have a real nice set of Vance & Hines Dresser Duals headers with the chrome heat shields that would go perfect with those slip ons. I could do $300 plus shipping if interested.

$400 approximately. If you were going to get it dyno-ed the tuner can just sell you a license for less$.

Might take you up on it but I have heard that I might have problems hearing the radio with those. I have no amp and with removable tour pak - only 2 speakers.

You can't have everything. If you want a louder bike it WILL impact what you hear from the radio.

I understand wanting to save money BUT there are some things you shouldn't be cheap with and the number one thing with a Harley is the Tune of the engine and what parts you bolt on...a bad tune or no tune when adding a full stage one could impact the longevity of the engine.

You should go to some bike nights and listen to bikes...find one you like and talk to the owner on what he did

Also the internet and Google are your friend...you need to spend time researching what you want to do

I understand being on a budget and having to do things the most cost efficient way possible, but if you are just being cheap to be cheap, maybe you should just leave the bike as it is

You are right and I have been googling quite a bit, listening to different setups. I think with all the great feedback I've gotten from you folks and all the research I've done, I will just wait until I can afford some power duals and tune. Just have to start saving.

Thanks everyone for all the replies and great advice.
