My Only concern. I own a 2007 SE Ultra. She Now runs great, but only after i had her dynod with a SERT, pipes and air cleaner installed. How long will the 2008 owners wait till they can do the same? or will they be able too?I am assuming the Cats have sensors, meaning you only will be able to change the pipes with Cats, keeping your sensors, just like cars. The 2007's only have a 02 sensor. I am just guessing, but all cars have sensors in the cats. The 2008 is a much more complex machine, designed to meet tighter epa requirments and make it so owners keep their bikes stock or install smog legal parts. When Harley introduced the 2007 models they made a big deal out of the exhaust note, claiming a return to trational sound. Notice for 2008 no mention of exhaust sound? I don.t blame Harley, they must make the change. I only hope the bikes run well without modifications right off the floor, if they do that, i think they will do well.
with cats in the exhaust the 08's wont have to run as lean as the 07's
this will probaly solve alot of issues with heat. if you have to change the exhaust it with probaly be a little pricey. or perhaps you can do what a lot of car guys do and run o2 simulators which make the computer think their working by sending a false signal to the pcm
