I lost one of the quick detach posts from my 4 point docking system. First time ive mounted the tour pak and rode a couple days with it. I must not have tightened the post tight enough because when I went to take the tour pak off it was gone. ANyone know where I could find a replacement post without having to buy the whole 4 point hardware kit?
Its one of the front posts. Missing rubber and chrome pieces - only thing left was a small chrome washer.
Cheapest Ive found the whole kit is over $100. Pretty expensive mistake on my part.
I just googled harley docking hardware bushings and came up with many places to buy them. Seems like they come as just the bushing but if you need the screw and washer as well you can source that at the hardware store. You can also just buy one of those cheaper knockoff sets of docking hardware from Amazon for about $30 and have extras also.
Your dealer should be able and willing to order just the parts you need. I replaced just the right bracket when it got scratched. It was WAY cheaper than replacing the whole kit.
Many parts of the HD 4-point docking system are available from the dealer to be bought as individual parts. Your local dealer should be able to help you out.
Wanted to thank you all for the help. I called the local dealership and using the schematic that GalvTexGuy posted I was able to give the girl the exact part numbers and get them ordered for about $20.
