Working on 2002 ultra classic police addition for a friend of mine.. Told him I would help get it running be parked for 2 years plus. Only has 20,000 miles on it. Had to put a battery in it to start. Looked in tank smells like varnish. took tank off to drain, but noticed tank full of rust, components in side tank were rusted badly to. I pulled the guts out and did a Kreme process on the tank. Removed and Cleaned up t he insides. Bought a new pump, fuel filter and hoses. While bike was down checked injectors. They were clicking just fine and on first exam of plugs they where wet.. After a week got the bike back together. Crank but run shitting . Added Sea Foam and tried to start again. Pulled plugs they were not only soaked but also black. Cleaned and dried plugs gaped at 38. Retried to no avail. You can Barely here tiring fire on first rev of motor. Still will not start. Approximately 3 gal in tank. ran compression. Wow shows 120 on front cylinder and 170 on rear. As far as I know stock motor. Should be a =round 90 started thinking the fob that he gave to me with it was probably dead. Replaced batter. When I turn it on, I can here pump running and then shut off. When I check 15 amp fuse labeled EFI . plenty of sparkl going on both cylinders.
it is hot for a showing 10 to 11 volts. and then shuts off. What causes the 15 amp to loss power. I don’t have a clue anymore. I also bypassed fob to see if it would help[. No engine light on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds to me as if you have reached the point where you need hands-on help from outside. We can offer you suggestions from afar, but that is like trying to win the lottery, with no guarantee of success. Do you have any Harley independents around your parts? I strongly suggest the two of you try that.
ok well thanks anyway. though it was worth a try. i think its going to be a sensor or something like that shutting of the power supplied to that EFI fuse. been going thru the schematic again last night. it was nice back in the day to wire one up over night. hell you could even get a copy of Easyrider and get a plan. lol So much for those days.
ok thanks, I was kind of hoping that i could at least get him running. i have gone there yet, but it cant hurt. i am going to look in to the security part again. I dont know whether it shuts off power to the fuel or the spark.

I don't know either, but a decent security system will protect several circuits, not just one. There is a diagnostic FSM for the electrics/electronics, but the only one I've looked at is a heavy read - especially if, like me, you are not very electrickery minded!
I have check them both. I have the Harley, service manual and the electronics as well. pump runs fine with direct power to it, but when all hooked up it quits pumping. I have new regulator, fuel filter and pump. I though maybe the pump just weak. put as soon as i hook it to its given power supply it will not pump but very little. I have check injectors, quick connect (never gets pressure build up before shut off) and fuel supply line to induction model. there is absolutely no obstruction. As soon as i hit he start button, power intermittent. This thing is going to work me over I guess.
