So many threads about retuning the M8. So I would like opinions/straight answers without the smart comments.
2019 M8 Roadglide 107. TAB zombie slipons. Came across a good deal on RCX Tormentor Headers. If I install them will I be ok with stock intake and no tuner? Found a really good deal but dont want to have to do all the other stuff right now.
Local dealer tried putting Tormenters on my 2018 RGS. Had problems with fitment. Header pipe was hitting on the first set and only 1/16" clearance on the second set they tried to install. They contacted RCX and were told that problem had been addressed and offered a third set of headers. Dealer respectfully declined and we decided on Bassani header with RCX slipons. Sounds awesome. Perform very well.

The answer is you should retune for the long term health of the motor and the heat coming off to your leg. Narrow band 02 sensors can not compensate for AFR changes of more than .2 or .3 either direction. A free flowing header would require more adjustment than that.
Other answer is you dont have to do anything, some believe changing pipe but not AC will run fine. If thats the answer you want to hear in order to go through w it then you may get it. However keep in mind my tuner and most all others recommend me to retune even on a baffle only swap.
