Default Radio Volume and Mode *****

Searched and found a ton on this but not actual instructions on how to get them off. I am switching out switch housing to chrome. In removing the volume and mode switches for a 2006 street glide with no cruise control do they just pop off when prying or is a special tool needed to remove so I can reuse once I switch out switch housing. I know there is a brass shin I read about and is installing them back on the same process. Thanks.

THIS will show you how they get removed for the installation of chrome switch caps. You would remove them in the same manner. Unfortunately, the plastic tool supplied in the kit is not sold separately. Perhaps someone that has done so would still have their clip tool, or you can use something similar/fashion your own.
