Ok for starters Im 5'5 with 30 inseam. I was so excited when I first put on my Harley reach Seat. It put me slightly forward with good reach to handle bars (I have Khromewers 2+2 narrow) with good riding position and reach to the ground. I like how I'm in control of the bike and how easy it is now to manuver the bike. After several months of short rides finally I was able to do my first 500 mile trip yesterday. Ohh man I'm so disspointed in this seat, not only was my lower back soar but I also started to get tail bone pain. I never got any tail bone pain from stock seat.
I like the way this seat puts me in position and control of the bike. I don't want to give away that feature. Is there any other seat like harley's reach seat or I could just do some adjustments to the one I already have ?
With a 30 inch inseam why the need for a reduced seat? Can you rotate the bars to reach them better?
Stock seat puts me way back and feels like I cant control the bike well. With reach seat Im lil forward and feel in more control of the bike with good maneuvering ability.
Harley did us no favors with the crude way they made the reach seats. Don't know if Airhawk makes a pad/bladder small enough to fit, but it's an idea. But anything that adds to the padding will lift you up a bit.
