Default Shock SHOCK!
Just got my Pro Actions delivered today. Went to install them on my 2019 Ultra and there were no lock washers on my shock bolts. Aren't there supposed to be lock washers on these bolts? Looks like a trip back to the dealer.

Check your manual, if you have one. You'll like those shocks though.

The parts breakdown shows washers on the bolts, but no lock washers.
Part number is 6590HW.

Why would you go back to the dealer for lockwashers? Im sure they are nothing special.

Right on that one, just lock washers. Anyhow to answer OP's question, yes there are lock washers, go to Pro Action video on their site for installation.

No lock washers from the factory on my '18 Street Glide. Torque spec for the shock bolts is now higher than what's called for in my '13 service manual, not sure when it changed.

the manual calls for loctite so no lock washers needed.

Not going back to the dealer for lock washers. I'm not that rich. Going back to bitch. I have shop manual and it shows lock washers. There was no loctitie on the bolts either.
Picked up lock washers at hardware store. 4 for a buck.

dont forget you usually have to use a Plumbers torch to heat up the shock bolts to get them out.
the heat loosens up the loc tite
