Pulled the trigger a little early but couldn’t pass on the good deal. Blew up the motor in my 2008 road glide in July, sold it as is and found this 2018 with a stage 3 SE kit, bars, slip ons and windshield, and only 540 miles.
He hasn’t been able to find the SE tuner yet so hopefully it turns up.....
Under warranty until May. Will try to extend it another year if I can. It came with a VIP service plan but not sure if that’ll transfer or how that all works. I do my own services anyway.
Ill keep my my eye on oil transfer and sumping issues and keep my fingers crossed I don’t have any problems!
Not much riding left in the northeast so I’ll ride it as is until winter then change the bars, shocks, and maybe add some flames.
Thank you! My first ever "new" vehicle (500 miles but still, I consider it new lol)
With that being said, I didn't have any interaction with the dealer he bought it from (and would rather not with their reputation) so I have some questions regarding warranty:
Does warranty work and services need to be performed by the dealer the bike came from, or any dealer?
And I would prefer to just do my own services, but how do I do that and keep my warranty? I assume only Harley oils and keep receipts? Is there a printout to document the checklisted parts at the service intervals? I don't want to give them any excuses to lose the warranty,.
Thought it was odd that he couldnt find paperwork for the Stage 3 work or find the tuner....seemed like a really nice guy, local cop, etc.
Just called Harley and it's only ever had a stage 1 installed. Ugh.
Deal is done, and it was still a great deal, but I am pissed....

Sweet bike! Stage 3 or not.
Is that the Klock Werks 14" fairing? How is that working out for you?
