Default Cruise Control 2020 RGL

was on a ride yesterday and lost CC twice. Road had minor bumps (like tar strips) but nothing major. Second time I looked at display and CC was still engaged (yellow) and I just needed to push up on button to "resume". Thought that was kinda weird and didn't know if anyone had experienced that. Bike has the new RDRS and maybe it has something to do with that?

thanks

Have you changed grips, removed and reinstalled the front brake lever or removed and reinstalled the factory grip on the right side? Touchy or inoperative cruise is most frequently related to damaging the front brake light switch. How fast were you going? Momentarily going above the max set speed will disengage the cruise, Was any one riding behind you who could say if your brake light flashed when you went over bumps?

Enough of a bump could tap your front brake or make you decel on the throttle. Were you shifting by chance? A friend though he could upshift with cruise on, but pull in the clutch disengages the cruise. In case you didn't know.

Rolling the throttle forward disengages the cruise, very likely your hand moved enough when hitting the bumps to disable it.

i can see this being the problem. I tend to lean into my grips. Might have rolled the throttle forward at the time I hit the bump. will keep an eye on this one.
