Default Parasitic battery drain

I have a 2013 SG with security system and no ABS. Have a 4.7 amp draw on the battery while ignition is off. Have pulled all the fuses and monitored the amps while checking. No change when any of the fuses were pulled. Also pulled the main fuse and still no change in amperage draw. Thoughts or suggestions on the most probable cause?

Do you have an amp or lights or any other accessories hooked up directly to the battery?

cross feed on battery charging pigtail?
Unusual but battery drain from the battery into the battery box. (used to be very common).
Any accessory that is directly hooked to battery

When you pulled the main fuse, that should have separated the battery from the bike. It would be impossible for any device in the bike to pull current.

Do you have any wires connected to the negative terminal besides the factory wire?

How did you measure the current pull? Inline with a meter, a magnetic field meter, ?

Checking current draw can be difficult, setting up the meter, reading the scale. Are you sure you read Amps and not MilliAmps? The positive does go to the started before the main fuse but how could you have a short drawing 5A?

I'll post the main schematic for 2013 Touring. Pull the main fuse and set up your meter to measure current. Insert your meter leads in the fuse holder so now all current will be going through the meter. What do you measure?

Was my thought too. Unhooked it at both ends.

Actually the way I'm reading the schematic in the service manual, there is a connection before the main fuse at the starter or relay. Checking that this morning. Have a charging pigtail on the ground also, now unhooked. Using a digital multimeter set on the 10 amp connection inline at the negative terminal. Indicates 4.69 amps.

It is definitely reading 4.69 amps. Thought I was seeing things also. Seen the starter connection on the schematic last night and will be checking that this morning. I've been doing my check between the negative battery terminal and cable.

Thanks for suggestions so far. I'm going to check the surface of the positive cable to the main fuse input including the connection at the starter today. I must be missing something somewhere.
