Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to take your hands off the bars and touch your phone to activate siri?
If I have the gopro app running, all I have to do is push the record button.
Not if you use a headset.
Has your original question been answered? It will be a matter of preference. Try it on one side, try it on the other, then make a decision.
I have the Sena 20S and there is a single button on the back of it, I tap that button and it activates SERI as long as it is within range. Never had a use for SERI till I got the bluetooth helmet sets.
For the record, my phone mount is on the left on my bike. Never found it difficult to use. Just make sure whatever mount you get, it will HOLD the phone.
I have one I got off ebay and works well for me, but is a little awkward to lock in, but is secure once I do. A family member has a Ram mount and almost lost his GPS on our last trip. His fault, didn't have it in there correctly.
In his defense, I had mine mounted, I thought, and was heading into town planning on following my GPS once I got closer in. I looked down to see the time and no phone! Panic set in ,for about half a second and I saw the charge cord, that I had plugged into the phone, was holding it from dropping to the ground as I was riding.
Like I said, make sure it is mounted and locked in.
