Fuel moto is an honest company that strives to have great customer services. They pride themselves to be honest in their workmanship and strive to be the best. I suspect they will test all cams to show that their products are good or this will show them how to strive to be better.
Hoooweee! I'm certainly subscribing for this one. Though I hope it wont result in disappointment for me. I did my set up about 6-8 months ago and it's sweet, but I'm curious to see all the results.
Would love to see a selection of SE cams just for comparison sake.
maybe the standards (255,254,204 etc.)
The main reason weve chose the selections to be tested is were conducting the testing on our own dime, were purchasing each set of cams and im using resources as im stealing one my shop techs to swap about 20 sets of cams. With that being said if anyone has a set of SE-204 or SE-255 cams they can send me we would include them in our testing and we would return them when finished.

Those would be a couple of good SE cams to test. The 585 would also be interesting.
Broadening the test to cams other than only those sold by FM would give a good reference for comparison. It would elevate the exercise to be more than just pushing items that FM sells if the tests were fair.

It sounds like they are willing to test some cams they don't sell if you send the cam to them. They are not an independent testing organization, so why should they incur costs testing cams they don't sell? They do plan to test a number of different cams so that should give the perspective customer different options to choose from. They're a business whose goal is to sell products and services to make money.

Ummm, yeah. Businesses quite often compare what they sell to things they don't sell in order to give the customer an informed knowledge of what they are buying. I have a business and we do that all the time. Even if the other guy's products do as well as your own, laying it out there instills trust in your reputation. The goal of a good business should be to satisfy customer wants.
Thanks to FM for being willing to test other cams if supplied with such. They should not be afraid of doing that.

I agree it can be a good thing, but sooner or later, as with any business... it boils down to costs involved.
Testing cams is not a cheap proposition.....Switching out cams and then the dyno time to tune them properly, to get a good print out of their optimum performance is labor & time intensive which equals $$$$$.
I absolutely agree that it a big plus that FuelMoto is taking the time, and spending the money to test these cams in the same bike/engine/heads/exhaust/air cleaner. To test cams they don't sell, IMHO, is pure gravy and beyond generous.... I doubt they are "afraid" of testing anything..
I have been doing business with FuelMoto for several years. I have always been impressed with their knowledge and integrity. Just this morning I dropped off my bike at FuelMoto for some mods. Jaime & crew once again demonstrated how much they care about the customer, about delivering the performance the customer wants, and they saved me a chunk of change in the process...
