One of the best lifters on the market.

Nothing wrong with S&S lifters, just more expensive. When the time comes to replace my lifters again as a Preventive Maintenance, Hylift Johnson will be my brand of choice.

from what research i have done on these lifers they are pretty damn good for the price. They are good for bolt in and mild cams,

I had an annoying tick that would get worse when the engine was hot and symptoms of a collapsing lifter at higher RPMs with the new S&S performance lifters and used SE adjustable pushrods I installed with the SE-257 cams and SE cnc racing heads in my 95 big-bore build. After mucking around unsuccessfully by changing oil and trying to adjust them, I finally gave up and got new SE performance lifters and SE adjustable taper pushrods. The tick is gone (faintly noticeable when it is really hot), and I am not having any issues at any speeds.

I know some folks don't believe in SE performance, but the only problems I have had with this project engine is with the aftermarket parts. It is all SE and Harley now, done by the book and works great...
