So on my “New to me” 2007 FLHX, I kept hearing a clunk anytime I hit a bump and noticed the fairing shaking a bunch. After some research on here I discovered that it might be a broken bracket. Upon further checking, not one.... but all FOUR are broken. I then find that some of you all have “engineered” a good with Home Depot brackets , but I wanted something a little more elegant. I then find a suggestion of Ragan Fab Works and their bracket repair kit. Done. Ordered on Friday. Arrived today. Installed and back together in nothing flat. Beautiful.
Fit is great. Strength feels great. I am happy.
i would recommend them if you need to repair your batwing braces. Just thought I would share my experience, not related to them in any way other than a satisfied customer.
