Ive not noticed this before. But, my 17 Ultra Limited with 18,000 miles, at even moderate speed if I take my hands off the bars even for a short time, the front end starts to wobble. I could have sworn I could ride with no hands without this happening before.
Is this normal, and if not what could cause it? My tires are Dunlop American Elite, with plenty of tread and proper air pressure. I have Ride On in them.
Could be a bad tire (front or rear),might also be fork neck bearings out of adjustment.
That should have been checked at your 10K service.
No this is not normal if everything is in spec.
Just put a set of AE's on mine also , have about the same mileage and no issues . Still , I would check them for damage / defect and check for bad bearings even if you had new ones put on at the same time . I'm guessing your issue is up front , get your bike off the ground and spin the wheel and have a listen / look see ,
Definitely not normal. FWIW I had a 2011 Road Glide Ultra with AE tires that would run rock solid hands free at Interstate speeds all day long. As long as your tires are not defective and are properly inflated and balanced I doubt if they’re your problem. 10-4 on checking the neck bearing adjustment. Hopefully it’s something simple like that and not a swing arm problem.

Here is an older link to similar issues and responses--and a successful SOLUTION that was provided for his original issue---- post #22 shows original posters response to a suggestion that fixed his issue--also a PDF of the page that shows the bolts that were tightened were included later in the postings. Good luck--Hope this helps.
